- For optimal performance and appearance, hardwood doors have a 1⁄4” thick veneer flat center panel with premium woodfiber board core while Paint on Maple and Paint on Premium Woodfiber Board door styles have a 1⁄4” thick finished premium woodfiber board center panel.
